Kind of. Deferred from a reach EA and today a safety EA (which was shocking--I didn't even tell my kid I know. He doesn't want to go ther and doesn't know decisions come out). Waiting to hear from a match tonight and and a match/reach tomorrow. If neither of those pan out (and I'm not feeling good about it, given what happened with the safety today), then yes, we're back to the drawing board. This is way harder than I thought it would be. Bummer! Worrisome that the safety was a no. Doesn’t bode well for the remainder. Maybe look at some schools with an easier admit than the safety.
Just got his second deferral of the night. From a match, though his college counselor thought it was a pretty sure thing based on previous students from his school. And these schools are nothing to write home about. This is a nightmare.
