I would feel exactly the same way if Jon Ossoff were screwing up the committee's business with an extended absence.

I’m the PP who revived this thread last week. There is an argument that this could be sexist/ageist because no Democrats were saying this about Fetterman who also took an extended absence from the judiciary committee, until he announced that he would be returning to work today. I still think she needs to go, though.

Or because Fetterman just got elected and his health was a major campaign issue. Dems would not look great doing a flip flop like that so soon after he entered the Senate.

Well his health was an issue during the election and the voters still elected him. He also is not on the judicial committee. The dems need to appoint judges now. Feinstein’s situation makes people remember the RGB self inflected disaster.

He’s also 40 years younger. Recovery looks different from 50 to 90.

This is giving RBG flashbacks, and that did not end up going well.

Time to go.

What words are to be minced? She’s hampering the work of the Democrats, and with the fascist GOP howling at the door, we don’t need any more hampering.

+1 How many millions of dollars did people spend to win the Senate and get us out of this mess and we’re right back in it?
