Yes that’s definitely your guess. It’s a long way to 2024 (and even to 2022). We should see who the candidates are before making premature unfounded claims
I don't need to know the candidates unless the GOP runs Trump again 2024 is their year. It's highly unlikely Biden will do another 4 years. The media is already painting Harris as incompetent. GOP runs somebody like a Charlie Barker they win in a landslide.
Senate is going back to GOP in 2022.
Charlie BAKER will never win a GOP primary, so no landslide for you.
Democrats have a good chance of holding Arizona and Georgia and winning Pennsylvania (and perhaps Wisconsin and North Carolina.) No 2022 Senate for you.

I like Conor Lamb. Fetterman's awesome too.
Is Lamb running?
In Democratic political circles, there’s widespread belief that U.S. Rep. Conor Lamb, a Western Pennsylvania Democrat with centrist credentials, will eventually join the fray.
Messages to two centrist party insiders yielded almost identical responses: No one is worried about Lamb. The expectation is he’ll be in the race.
Lamb, who has openly discussed a potential campaign, is one of the last major Democrats yet to announce his intentions after Houlahan last week and U.S. Rep. Madeleine Dean this week each said they won’t run. Their decisions clarified the Democratic primary field — and put even more focus on Lamb — as the party eyes a contest that will determine who runs for an open seat in one of the country’s most competitive races, potentially deciding control of the Senate. (Incumbent Republican Sen. Pat Toomey isn’t seeking reelection
