A Sidwell teacher has confessed to and pleaded guilty to molesting a child. This we all "know" because it was in the news and given how the teacher's supporters publicly tarred the victim and dismissed the teacher's conduct, this is absolutely something we can comment on, in public. This "I have a secret and since you don't know it, shut up," business is absurd. It appears that the teacher's supporters who so publicly defended the teacher, and in such an ugly manner (anyone one remember the website that argued well, the victim chose to be alone with him? And how the supporters, who appeared to be non-Quakers, wrapped themselves in Quaker self-righteousness, as if the school's religion somehow made them more moral?) can't let it go.
