Anyway, Jason Miller is originally from Scranton, PA. He wrote a play "That Championship Season", of which he won a Pulitzer.
Because of the way he treated his wife, Jackie Gleason had him blackballed in Hollywood.
He returned to Scranton, was a falling down alcoholic who was mocked by people at the bars (Farley's, for those Scrantonians reading this), until he finally passed away.
It's was really sad to see.
