Yeah OP. I will admit I rolled my eyes a bit when I first saw your post. But here we are. I am forced to admit that you were right and I fell into the trap of thinking of republicans as rational actors who happen to disagree with me politically. Death cult it is.

Death cult? Or lots of Americans' deaths is just a side effect but not a very troubling one.
