Bloomberg isn’t even on the list. If it’s Bloomberg vs Trump I’m staying home. A lot of people will do the same and refusing to vote for the “best” billionaire racist.

I’m a black voter. This has absolutely disqualified me and my family from ever voting for Bloomberg.

I’m not sewing anything. I don’t want a guy who thinks that black males need to be searched and arrested for simply existing. I can see if this is how he thought 30 years ago, but these are very recent comments.
The more we can convince people not to vote this clown into office, the better. We already have one clown in, but so far, this clown hasn’t said anything as bad as what Bloomberg has said.
He called Baltimore residents vermin. He caged immigrants and children for weeks, lost families to what was likely human trafficking. He tweeted a photo of a taco bowl on Cinco de Mayo and said all the rapists and murderers were coming out of Mexico. Trump is on record for proclaiming that he didn’t want a black man counting his money. Well, we certainly know he didn’t min
Trump has not only said worse than Bloomberg, he has caused more tragedy than philanthropy in any of his public and historical work. To say the least. I have a right to disagree with unfair treatment from both Trump and/or Bloomberg or any other person, and still make a decision for how I will operate; as do you. people have a right to protect themselves, especially amongst abuse; and that can include setting boundaries from dangerous wolves and especially abusive authoritarians. But when no one follows the rules, and it seems that only a pack leader is encroaching with his own rules and a clan of followers... well.
You would be the clown and fool to keep him there.
Im the black PP. Baltimore is a bad nasty place. So what? Have you been to Baltimore besides the downtown area? It’s bad. And Spare me your boring argument on the kids in cages bit. 1) Obama was doing that too 2) if they came here legally, there would be no issues.
Trump never had policies that literally targeted black kids. Seriously, if I lived in NYC between 2002 and 2014, just for simply minding my business, my 4th amendment rights would not exist and I can be liable to be stopped because of my skin color? Literally, that’s it. I’m black so I must be a violent thug up to no good.
A fool would to be to vote blue no matter what for another racist bigot. F that. I’m staying home if it’s between Trump and Blooomberg.
Also, lol at calling a black person a fool for not wanting to vote for a guy who literally would’ve been ok with me going to jail for walking down the street.
Trump wants nationwide stop and frisk. He said this in 2016, after it was declared unconstitutional.
“I would do stop-and-frisk. I think you have to. We did it in New York, it worked incredibly well and you have to be proactive and, you know, you really help people sort of change their mind automatically.”

Not sure what the point of this is. The very thing you bolded is still true. He never implemented the policies. Bloomberg actually did.
No, Bloomberg continued the policies of the Giuliani administration and stopped them once they were declared unconstitutional. Trump is still saying over and over that he wants them even after they have been ruled unconstitutional. Trump, in 2018, said he was asking Attorney General Sessions to “work with local authorities to try to change the terrible deal the city of Chicago entered into with ACLU, which ties law enforcement’s hands.”

I know Bloomberg says he only jumped in the race because Biden looked weak, but his strategy is perfect for someone who wanted to avoid early scrutiny. Had he entered when everyone else did, his record on stop and frisk would have been brought up numerous times during debates and interviews. He knew he had that baggage and thought he could circumvent it by skipping the first contests and debates and skipping right to Super Tuesday.
I’m not looking for perfect BTW- all of these candidates have flaws. But that shouldn’t stop us from evaluating and discussing those flaws. Seems like there are a lot of people who want to just look past Bloomberg’s flaws because he has a lot of money.
Serious question do you think Bloomberg is going to implement stop and frisk as a policy of course not
He is A+ on gun control, the environment. He supports a $15 minimum wage what more do you want as a progressive
Personally he's more moderate on the economy and healthcare and guess what so is the rest of the country.
Different black voter here.
I will not consider whether or not he is going to implement stop and frisk. His recent statements (yes, 2015 is very recent) are damaging enough that they automatically disqualify him as far as I am concerned.
I am not voting for someone who is willfully ignorant on racial profiling.
Bloomberg is not the only alternative. Now, some of the other moderate candidates also have issues with race. I am already committing to vote for anyone of them if they win the nomination because Trump is such a threat. That's how far I am willing to consider. If Trump is such a threat let Klobachur, Buttigieg and Biden coalesce to form a strong moderate candidate. Let white America sacrifice one or 2 of their candidates(pick one of these 3 and let everyone vote for them) so a moderate can win the nomination(getting a moderate candidate seems to be the main reason why they want Bloomberg).
Imagine people not voting for Biden just because he is not as eloquent as the others. But we are supposed to swallow Bloomberg's racism because he can beat Trump. Well Biden will beat Trump! Swallow his shortcomings.
+1 to all this.

This shouldn’t be a contentious point.
