Yeah it makes total sense that a Palpatine ultimately won and that the Skywalkers are completely gone and that Rey Palpatine went to take over the Skywalker household on Tattoine.
Palpatine ultimately won. It really does make total sense.
Huh? She went to Tattoine to bury Luke's and Leia's lightsabers. She killed Palpatine.
WTH are you talking about?
Did you even watch the movie? Or pay attention to it? Clearly not.

So, Palatine can come back again if it's necessary for the plot?
That’s basically it. Lol. They killed Snoke the last movie so they needed another big baddie in the movie.
Snoke was just a projection made by Palpatine. Keep up. He was never his own entity.
Or it’s just bad writing. It’s why you should never have 2 different directors write the 3 movies without an actual outline or a plan.
Umm ... no. Palpatine had been present in every part of the trilogies. It makes total sense that he would’ve pulled the strings, just like he did in the prequels and original trilogies.
It really doesn't! If that is your plan you contact your main baddie long before 2018! They started to shoot August 2018, they got beyond lucky Mcdiarmid was free to shoot. It was not planned forever, the frantic re-shoots show that very clearly. If you are so into SW, how come you aren't following the drama about redoing the movie until October? What clearly happened is that they had no plan or program and scrambled like nuts after the Last Jedi. RoS is meant to pacify the Phandom Menace, it is basically a "sorry" to real fans. You do not introduce your villain in the last chapter!

He wasn’t introduced then! He was in every single trilogy.
You all are acting like toddlers. “I don’t like these movies so they don’t exist!”
Petulant children.
We will do what we want, you do what you want. Your logic is flawed, you know this was a patched up movie, but hey, you like it for what ever you like it. Your reasons are your own. Maybe you worked on special effects, maybe you have low IQ, whatever. Nobody with any IQ would not acknowledge the problems and that Palpatine was not planned from the beginning, yet you seem to be stuck on he was planned? Surely the actor would have known his own schedule? Why is it so important to you to convince us that Palpy was planned from 2014? We know he wasn't, your insistence that he was is weird. Like having him there, sure, you like the movie, but clinging to the idea that he was planned from the beginning shows that you do not follow any of the SW happenings or are weirdly delusional. Evidence from the man himself shows that you are wrong.

Amen! Or May the Force be with you, one who understands and is in the know of the sad contacting Christensen and McDiarmid late in 2018! Six ending being tried in October! Freaking out after test audiences disliked the movie so much.

Let me make this clear for you, though you seem dense. These new movies are nothing, they do not exist to most of us. Palpatine was dead, this makes no sense. And how he was shoved into the story, in the prologue is nothing but crap writing. Jar Jar Abrams at his best, no explanation for even the Death Star being on a planet after being blown to pieces. This is not a part of Skywalker Saga, they can call it what they want. You can call it what you want. I bet you few years from now, Disney will retcon these movies and kick them out of cannon.
