Does the last 2 sentences help you sleep at night?

No need to drive to Georgia anymore. Look on the bright side

You don’t have to act that way. Your kid can keep trying out! Better luck next season!

No need to be rude just stating the results. Your wife is one lucky girl.

Anyone have insight into what Terry is doing?

WHO CARES??

Well he created a pretty good club here in VA and sold it and now he's talking about getting back into the game.

Some may care.

No, he helped create a pretty good league called the ECNL and then reaped the benifits of being in an exclusive league. The best kids came to him based on league status.

If he was that good - He COULD have created a pretty good club in Florida too. That clearly didn't work out that well. He had one team (12 year olds) that were OK - a long time ago.

I wish I knew the plan was to gradually move practices to Springfield before joining. It would have only needed to come out a few days before, actually.

They will stay at Evergreen for much of this year. When the weather turns certainly expect DA practices to be in the field house if Evergreen is snow covered. Spring may see a gradual move but by this time next year the DA teams will likely be in Springfield no less than 2 practices a week.

This just isn’t true. Unless you are one of a couple people, you don’t know what is going on. This is 100% not factual. They may start moving over, but nobody outside of a couple knows what will hapen.

If Evergreen is covered in snow they will shift to TSJ. Why wouldn't they?

I would bet my life that by this time next year, no less than 50% of DA practices will be in Springfield.

They'll simply transition NPL teams to Evergreen to finish out the lease.

Ownership is in Springfield and having the DA out at Evergreen is costing them money. Every DA practice held in Evergreen is one less field house rental or basketball court rental for futsal etc...

The gym makes money through memberships and on site concessions. So, you may or may not end up full time in Springfield but that membership fee will be built into your team fees as if you were a gym member whether you use the facility or not.

Last year they plowed Evergreen if it was snow covered and the girls played.

I wouldn't bet your life on anything if I were you.

We'll see what happens with fees. No change this year so your 'built in membership fee' is bunk!

Of course there was no change in fees this year because offers went out well before the sale was announced. The NPL teams are not really affected because their not the target teams to move down to the St James.

The St James purchased FCV DA (FCV is for profit) to make money. FCV Ashburn, United what ever you want to call it are non-profit and as such they are safe at Bles and wherever. The DA teams, in time will be moved to Springfield.

A good gauge to see if prices will increase next year would be to see if there are any price changes form last year to this year regarding extra club programs like extra training or futsal etc. If those extra club programs have gone up in price this year it will be safe bet that price hikes will be coming to travel programs next year, particularly DA.

No changes. Futsal is and has always been separate.

They took over Bles when they merged with Ashburn SC (ASC). Then they killed of ASC and kept their field.

But that isn’t happening. All DA teams practice at Evergreen or local indoor. Most NPL and other moved to Bles. But neither is Springfield. All the scheduling and calendars still show Evergreen.

So does that mean only DA team get to train on turf fields??????

For the most part. I see some boys out there occasionally, but almost exclusively DA teams.

And the Non-DA teams tolerate this? Most area grass fields are not in great shape. Hope they got a discount on fees for this year!

The Non-DA have been using Bles for years. Nothing new really. They just don't get a day per week at Evergreen.

Remeber how FCV got Bles?
