Those that are pro victim want the rapists tried convicted and jailed. You are so pro deportation you want to let a rapist go. If Putting rapists in jail makes me liberal I am liberal af.
Or they'd like for the rapist to not be here in the first place?

If they are deported now they will just come back.

Moco is not a sanctuary city.
Moco works with ICE to remove violent criminals.
You are very wrong. Your emporer has no clothes. They say that they work with ICE, but they only do it if forced to by public opinion.
Take a look at this thread with the link to the twitter account of a local ABC reporter who cites numerous examples where ICE has submitted a detention request and MoCo ignores it and releases the suspect without alerting ICE of the release. MoCo does NOT work with ICE unless they are held over the coals by local news reporting. If it doesn't make it into the news cycle fast enough to give MoCo a black eye, they release and do not alert ICE.

The bureau of prisons runs prisons not montgomery county.
They stay in the county jail until their local case is adjudicated. So they likely will be here at least a year.
If they are sentenced to more than 18 months, then they are transferred to the State corrections department. Bureau of prisons is federal.

Ice can no longer enter secure portions of the jail. So apprehension takes place in public. That is a potential safety issue.
There is zero need for local government to ask about immigration status. Immigration is federal law, and federal law alone.
Yes, it's a safety issue for law enforcement to have to go get them when they get out of jail but it also allows them to pick up everyone else who is in the house/apartment/workplace who is illegal too so not too bad.
I disagree there is zero need to ask about immigration status. If Maryland is issuing MD drivers licenses to foreign nationals, the least they can do is know for certain the status of the person they are giving benefits to.
The apprehension happens in the parking lot or the sidewalk near the jail or courthouse. Because ICE is there waiting, but can’t go into the detention areas of the facility. The public is at risk.
You can thank MoCo for that. What purpose does it serve to put the public in danger just to protect an illegal immigrant several feet away inside a jail cell?
He isn’t even in charge of prisons.
geez the ignorance.
Specifically, you can thank Marc Elrich. He did his executive order because there wasn’t much Council support for a Trust Act.
