In the Caucasian culture, yes, thin is preferred. In many other cultures a bit of "heft" is preferred in women.

Consider that in your dating choices if you are on the heavier side as a woman.

Even that is changing in white culture. The Kardashians have been the standard of beauty for the past ten years or so.

IMO Addison Rae is probably the sex symbol for young white men, and she's definitely not skinny. Not overweight either- probably in the "normal" BMI category, or a bit thicc.

Her body is about what I see young men really losing it over and "simping" for. I came up in the early 2000s when it was all about being very thin. I think all those girls now would not fit the beauty ideal. Now it's all about being "thicc" or "slim thicc" and having some "meat on your bones".

I am an older millennial and grew up during the heroin chic Kate moss era where we drank Fresca and ate a bowl of cucumbers for lunch. THIS is SO much healthier than that. Thank goodness was for this. I, as a grown a$$ woman am grateful that this is what is being boosted nowadays.

I am European and while I think this woman is beautiful, she is also fat.

I’m sure if I think long enough, I can think of some rick guys with larger wives, but most definitely have skinny wives. The richer, the thinner.

I like attractive women. You don't need to be a size 0 to be hot. You can easily be a size 4-6 and be very attractive.

In my 30 years of adulthood observations, I have concluded that most men who obsess over very fit, thin women are actually gay. They are interested in a BMI that is more typical of men.

Well, she has a very specific body type that is genetic. She is "thin" from the waist up, probably a size 4-6 waist/bust and size 12-14 hips/thighs. If the average size 4-6 woman tried to get thighs like her, she would end up with quite a gut too- which is universally unattractive to men. You really can't control where fat gets stored.

Exactly. Girls i know with her legs typically have a flat butt and fat elsewhere like arms shoulders or back and gut.

This is photo shop, her gut is there but buffed down. Basic 101 photo editing.

What is the “right kind of brown”?

Wealthy white guys I know prefer Kate Upton or Margot Robbie types, definitely not Kardashian.

And before you fat shame me, I’m 53 years old, 5’5 and 115 pounds. I don’t diet. I eat like a horse. It’s genetics. I am naturally thin. That doesn’t make me better than my 200 pound friend.
Maybe because she has a mom who brags about being skinny and eating a lot. No wonder...

Also if it's "genetics", why didn't your daughter get it?

Agree. I had a mom like you- and I also had an eating disorder as a teen.

Not with white men. Look at the men they date. I don't know any white women that want to look like a Kardashian.

I agree. It's really nice to see and probably a million times healthier. Most of the big instagram or Tik Tok models seem to look literally very healthy. They just... look healthy! Which is such a difference from the "need to be skinny at all costs" era
