Nailed it. Some of these people are actively seeking schadenfreude/karma/revenge/pay back - and mistaking one for the other.
This. Please stop this mindless and ignorant cultural misappropriation of the Hindu concept of Karma. You all are mostly talking about revenge, payback etc.
+100. There are some sick, sick people on dcum. Truly evil. This is exactly why you read so many miserable posts from miserable women. It isn't Karma. It's simply the Universal Law of the Universe. You reap what you sow. You can't plant corn and be shocked when beans grow. You can't hold anger and hatred in your heart and expect to be a decent person. It really is that simple.
wtf does the bolded mean?
I have no idea what that means either! I grew up on a farm and I, sure as shit, would be shocked if beans grew where we'd planted corn!
"You reap what you sow" does not equal "You can't plant corn and be shocked when beans grow". They are literally opposites. Seriously?
I cannot believe that people are confused about this. It's a pretty basic concept - and reap/sow is the SAME concept as corn/beans.
That is - what you put out into the world (what you sow / the corn you plant) is what will come back toy in the world (what you reap / corn not beans).

Needless to say it was the most enjoyable call I’ve ever been on. “Surprisingly” it was the only IV I couldn’t hit in my life so he had to go without any pain meds.
NP. Maybe it’s mean, but being bullied can really leave scars. So the bully got to feel some pain for 15-20 minutes after making PP feel pain, fear, self-loathing, dread, etc. for a long stretch of time. It’s not the best, but it’s understandable and now maybe PP can close that chapter.
+1
Ppl are acting as if he let him die. He just didn't get some pain relief for 15 minutes.

I was "with" the same girl from when we were 12-21. At 21, she broke up with me because she did not think I would make enough money. (I was a physics major, she wanted me to go into something more practical). She never got married, and spent her career as a school teacher. Me? Well, I am not rich, but am UMC with a seven figure net worth and salary in the mid 200's.
Let me guess, you’re a Nice Guy
Probably not -- if I was I would not be so petty to post this.
... oh, believe me, your post was petty and lame.
