Has Bullis issued a statement who is the head coach? It’s been a few since the Wash Post article and I have seen nothing

Who is this “dce dad”? That you suggest has been the architect of this?might as well say it if you’re so confident.

I think it's more of the parents not backing the admission of preferential treated kids for sports when they have standard admission students who play may equally as well. Dce complicates it by having a financial and employment interest.

Landon has been dominant program for well 20 plus years and to my knowledge they have never had club coaches affiliated with their program.

Gonzaga who is a top program today, they too don’t seem to be in bed with any club programs.

Madlax certainly crows quite a bit about their pipeline to Landon. Also. Madlax and to a smaller extent, next level, rent the fields quite frequently. NL might cut back now that the Heights has installed synthetic turf.

Yes but Landon seems to get a ton of Madlax kids and GZ a ton of BW kids. Rising 9th graders on top DCE 2021s are going to Landon and GZ. Bullis getting maybe 1. So DCE never seemed to be about being a feeder to Bullis.

"Was with a son of a Bullis board member last night in Bethesda". One might ask what is a Bullis Board member doing talking to their son on sensitive personnel matterss, and then that son (inaccurately) sharing information with you. Unethical? Against Bullis Board charter? Maybe that needs a committee to investigate. Time to close down this thread.

I love how you share your thoughts and then ask for the thread to be closed.

I would be skeptical of any “inside info” you read on this thread.

They started in June. Talked to roughly 10 parents on the team of varying ages, as well as some club owners in DC and Virginia. Didn’t like what they heard, which started whole process of moving on from current coach. Eventually voted 6-0 to move on and interview candidates.

Then it became public and administration couldn’t handle the pressure, thus the mess. My buddy’s Dad is pretty darn annoyed at whole thing. The whole mess has really endangered the future of the program.

Plenty of blame to go around, that is true. Board, JB, DCE, Administration. Pick whatever order you’d like.

The idea that this insider detail came from a Board member’s son and his friend is a facade...the dad is trying to explain what happened. Agree it all reflects poorly on the Board and the parents who got involved. Noone will care about johnny’s lacrosse resume in a few years so move on.
