I don’t think that’s necessarily the case, I read an article by a psychologist about how unusual this was, with her killing the other woman and herself and leaving her husband alive. It doesn’t fit the usual profile at all and is very rare. I’ll see if I can find it again and post the link.
In one of the articles I read about it, the police said they didn't think the murderer intended to kill herself when she went in to murder the other woman that day. She had a wig and other disguises with her. If that's the case, then something changed after she went in. Perhaps she got scared of getting caught and then killed herself - probably better than spending the rest of your life in prison!
