TROLL post!
Or text the OW husband. It always amazes me the things CUM chooses to believe.
The counselor didn't suggest going to OW's house - a friend did. And the counselor might well have said to text the OW DH. That other betrayed spouse is your best bet for making sure the affair is over. And make no mistake, it was an affair.
Almost EXACTLY what I went through a decade ago. Seriously. These things do unfold like this.
OP, please take good care of yourself.

OP here. Received today. Copy/pasted below:
My e-mail:
If you haven’t already heard the story from XX, you should be aware of what went on between your wife and my husband.
There will be no more running and she needs to stay away from my family.
His e-mail response:
So much to unpack here, but it would be to little benefit, so no reason to get into the details. Bottom line, I regret the loss to know such great people such as yourselves, but certainly, we'll respect your wishes
Truly and sadly, farewell to you both.
What do you expect him to do about this? He's not his wife's keeper. Tend to your own husband, who it seems you blame much less than the other woman. But of course it's easier to paint her as a conniving trollop than to admit you've harbored a duplicitous liar in your household all this time.

Maybe they have an open marriage, and he knew about it.
Interesting response. He doesn’t seem too upset about their supposed actions.

Anonymous wrote:I am not going to comment on DH and OW. That should be done by a professional only. None of us here should be influencing someone's marriage via forum posts.
However, I will comment on OP:
-she sounds insecure and possessive in unhealthy way
-she seems bored with her life, doesn't have much to do
-she seems controlling (wants to box in people she sees as "hers")
-she is asking an anonymous forum and some friends for advice on the most intimate issues in her life - thus demonstrating a lack of logical thinking grounded in real life - this should be between her, DH, and a professional counselor only.
Regardless of this OW, OP could drive away her husband with these character flaws.
