I think what bothers me the most is that he is choosing to wake up so early to spend time with someone else. If you are not a runner, maybe you can think of another way for both of you to work out together.

The counselor didn't suggest going to OW's house - a friend did. And the counselor might well have said to text the OW DH. That other betrayed spouse is your best bet for making sure the affair is over. And make no mistake, it was an affair.

Puh-lease. He has been snowed by his wife. Whatever she told him probably didn't include the kiss and touching. And you can bet that she was practically an innocent bystander in her version, too.

OP, you did the right thing. No contact from this point on with them for either of you.

I I were the DH I would be so angry at my wife going to other people's houses in the evening, sending emails around, and stirring the pot.
The marriage is not a police state, even if he was guilty of anything.
Someone who stirs the pot so much cannot be emotionally balanced.

Neither you OP, not the OW deserve your husband.

Your husband sounds like an amazing guy.
The OW seems to have emotional needs that extend beyond her marriage, which lands her into a territory of a home wrecker.
You on the other hand sound extremely entitled and act like a spoiled brat; a typical drama queen.
So, yeah, neither of you deserve your husband.

Meh, I disagree. I think posting on an anonymous forum is a healthy way to get some perspective if you've just had something shocking happen. She sounded confused and didn't know what to do.
