This FoxNews line about Mueller having to resign is reminiscent of the way it pushed Benghazi. It's a preemptive attack on Mueller's findings.

Mueller's resignation is not going to happen. Mueller is too smart and is going to start delivering some real evidence of serious criminal activity soon. The people surrounding Trump are going to be in deep trouble.

I am guessing that his part of the case is wrapped up and further, that he is a witness to some of the obstruction charges against the President, Vice President and Attorney general.

+1. And if you read carefully, he’s not resigning immediately - he will stay on until there is a replacement. The man is also 63. Some people are viewing this as more of a “well, my work is done (meaning the indictments), I am now going to retire” rather than a bad sign of being forced out.
