Today I am so happy for Jennifer Aniston.
Seriously why?
Only a really nasty person would be joyous that the parents or six children are divorcing.
Oh give it a rest. It is gratifying on some level when an unfaithful husband and the other woman in an affair end up getting divorced after all. Karma at its finest. No harm in stating the obvious.
Uh you realize Jolie and Pitt didn't carry on some long illicit affair right? It was all over the tabloids before this that Aniston and Pitt were having trouble. He meets Jolie and very soon after he divorces Aniston.
In some ways it is karma. Jolie also came between Laura Dern and Billy Bob Thorton. What goes around comes around. I feel bad for the kids, but not for Angelina.
She has also grown up, become a mother and an ambassador.
Sorry, don't see it. To me, she still looks nuts.

I agree with the PP, when children are involved there isn't anything joyful about it. This thread is full of bitter married women who believe karma will even the playing field in regards to cheating. Life isn't tit for tat.
No one is buying your 'holier than thou' routine.

What planet do you live on, that Brad has been typecast as the "bad guy" in his saga?
Because of (1) the reports that he cheated with his costar Marion Cotillard and (2) the reports that he has issues with pot and alcohol, among other things.

SIX kids all who are school-age, 2 huge careers, and a pretty nomadic existence where they are bouncing around the globe and always trekking through airports. Doesn't everyone need some type of stability in their lives? The kids obviously would benefit from that, and going to a real school instead of having tutors traveling with them - hey, they could make real friends and do normal kid stuff. And then B & A, they just looked permanently exhausted. I saw an interview with Brad a year ago and he was so out of it (maybe bc he was high but who knows) - he had just come back from Asia or somewhere and didn't know what day it was. No doubt this added to their stresses
I agree, their lifestyle was chaotic and not sustainable. I even think they are having financial troubles; they used to travel private everywhere but the last couple of years it's been all commercial. 6 nannies, bodyguards, chefs, drivers, tutors, and assistants start to add up over the years.
This is why I think Brad wants to get back to work - to bring in money. But there have been reports over the years that she doesn't want him doing anything that doesn't include her and she doesn't want to take up work that keeps her away from the kids, AND they can't keep dragging them around everywhere. No win situation.
Everyone's looking for a way to blame Brad, but I think he's more likely to be the rational person in all this who's put up with a lot over the years.
