It also isn't fair in the admission process to judge a candidate on who their parent is with. A gay family can be fine but it is not the same and is confusing for children at a young age to think this way. Personally I think the door has swung so far to the left that there is starting to be a push back. I am pro gay rights so can't imagine what the people who aren't pro gay rights are thinking. FYI I am not a fan of my kids being indoctrinated with this stuff at a young age. Kids are so innocent and if my child is gay so be it but I an not interested in having this stuff paraded around in Kindergarten.

Yes, you're right. A hetero family is not just the same as a gay family. A hetero family has a mother and a father. Or just a mother. Or just a father. Or a grandmother and a grandfather. Or a mother, a father, and a birth mother who lives somewhere else. Or a mother and a father, living in different households. Or a mother and a stepfather, or a father and a stepmother. Oy. So confusing for children at a young age. Which is why I think that private schools should only admit the children of married heterosexual couples who live together. If they get divorced, or even just if one parent gets posted temporarily overseas? Boot 'em out. Innocent kids shouldn't have to be confronted by this kind of stuff.

Yes, this is true, if you define "preferential treatment" as "wanting the same treatment and rights that everybody else has".
As for recruitment. Well. Did somebody recruit you to be heterosexual? No? Then how did you come to be heterosexual?

What 'agenda' would it be? Like making sure there is representation of African American perspectives? Is that a 'black agenda?' Or a Latino Agenda for Hispanic Heritage Month, or a Straight Agenda anytime a straight person is talked about with his or her family? Or a 'women's agenda' if we talk about important historical women?
