All great replys and now peopel who go to fancy "in places" think they have good food. I have been to a lot of these "in" places and they all suck, just people who dress up and want to be seen there.

Sad days but enjoyed this thread.

The son of the original DC Maggies opened the restaurant back up in Bethesda. Haven't been there so not sure how it compares with. The original.

Oh, yeah. Yards of beer and tacos for happy hour (uh, dinner). I broke a yard glass once. Those were the days. It's now Bistro Bis at Hotel George. Sigh.
