Your view is two years ago…in recent times, the Dems completely swept VA. Every higher office and record numbers in the legislature.
Also, 80% of all counties that rely on government handouts for their existence are bright red…they are quantifiably the least productive Americans. The new “welfare kings and queens”.

When decades pass and both parties (or tribes, or groups) play dirty, unethical, and do plain bad stuff vilifying “the others”, you really do get civil war eventually, or another type of violent collapse, or cataclysm. World history is full of examples. It’s already gone way too far for too long.
