They were all given soccer scholarships?
Yes.
At Coastal Carolina University and JMU and University of Mount Olive.
Is there something wrong with having a soccer scholarship to Coastal Carolina, James Madison, in Mount Olive?
Yes. These schools are for absolutely brain dead students. Brain dead going in, brain dead coming out. Parents must be so proud they spent a decade driving to VDA just so their DD can have a dim future as a player and as a productive member of society. Cannot stress enough how cynical one has to be to think this is Pathway Success.
Not everyone goes to an academically elite college. But they do also have players and commits to Virginia, Stanford, Duke, Notre Dame, Rice, Princeton, Maryland, NC State, Tennessee, Georgetown, Clemson, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, etc if that’s what more what you’re looking for.
Not everyone has the same journey. It’s all player and family specific. You people that crap on the accomplishments of these young women are absolutely sick.
If you think that College of Charleston or James Madison University are “accomplishments,” I feel really bad for you

Absolute game-changer, and will be a huge loss to our team, but I can appreciate she wants to depart the toxic cesspool we swim in. One more year to endure…
If you are referencing the 11's, you're correct. Toxic af!!!

Seems like U13-U15 mixed together, with multiple “superteams” 😂
Older teams targetted players from arl. Younger teams arl and fvu.
Ouch at the overlooked talent.
And yes on paper these teams will be maxed out as far as exposure and talent is concerned. Or at least thats the idea.
I heard Arlington was targeting some Vda players? Did any end up leaving for Arlington?
Lots of ♟️ being played.

Sucks for FVU. We see it happen year after year between BSC snd VDA. Messy but smart for business as long as the feeders still buy into it.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I will be honest, look at 2009 team, almost if not ALL are going D1 (21 of them), please tell me the commits from FVU, ARL, NVA etc for that same age group, I HAVE not seen them. To be fair, a couple of those girls committed prior to playing a minute with VDA. That said, VDA still does a great job with getting girls recruited.
VDA does a great job at recruiting girls to their club who are likely to be college players. They do this by offering players at other clubs to join VDA at almost no cost. That’s why their teams have roster sizes in the mid 20s, it’s the marginal players paying all the fees. From VDA’s perspective the free soccer is like a marketing expense to draw paying customers in using their commit marketing.
