I also expected more from CC and company, but it’s fairly comical to see legacy VRSC families bashing them when, as disappointing as most of the GA teams have been, they’re light years ahead of where the U13-19 girls black teams were prior to his arrival. Those teams were playing NCSL, in some cases not even in the top divisions. The Rankings app currently has the GA teams between 82 and 318 nationally. Teams at that age playing in NCSL probably don’t touch 700, with most outside 1000.


But CC is not the reason...nor the FCV players that followed him


Results improved dramatically in the first season he and they were there. If they were not the reason, then what was?

GD left GFR for VRSC? Not a shock given that it's the old FCV staff but surprised that he'd do it since he was getting paid to coach 4 teams at GFR.

Sure… but the fact is VRSC started as the receptacle of cuts and leftovers because angry German’s kid was cut from Loudoun’s third tier of glorified rec team.
The only way VRSC gets to be spoken of is through a huge money investor and garbage outside of soccer. They even had to purchase the snickers bar German from FCV with his crew to stay afloat and get access to GA via money. Cope harder.
