Of course he does. if they don't smile and fawn all over him, Trump calls them "nasty" and verbally abuses them publicly.
But Republicans allow chose him as their standard bearer, and Trump is normalizing this behavior for society.

What does that say about the country and those who voted for him that he got elected? This didn't just start after he was elected.

One benefit of growing up in Eastern Europe where this kind of behavior is totally normal was that I developed a very strong aversion and learned how to call it out at a very young age. I have been called aggressive and a b1tch so many times by men I stopped counting. We must address it every time in happens in real time. I know I do. I was stopped on an elevator as a 40 year old woman by a total stranger because he thought I didn’t say good morning to him (I did, he didn’t hear me, but that is not important). I told him that I have no idea who he thinks he is blocking my way, that I most certainly didn’t owe him a response and to never ever address me again for any reason (he worked on the same floor though different company, a GOP think tank no less). He would walk across the street if he saw me from that point on. We are not powerless.

The rise of misogyny in the last decade and the failure to talk about it/push back is actually one of the scariest things that's happened IMO. I have two daughters and I would like for them both to go to college abroad just so they have options.

The Secretary of Defense attends a church where the pastor advocates stripping women of the right to vote. It's mind-boggling.

I agree 100 pct. But people voted for him despite his “grab the women by the pu**** video,” his mocking of disabled people and prisoners of war and his calling Mexicans rapists.

So I guess half of America thinks it’s fine to talk that way.
