My high stat 1530 SAT kid accepted ED to NYU CAS, got generous financial aid package, and attending.

Much less bullshit than most of the T20 schools.

I don’t know a lot of high stats kids going there, but I do see a steady stream of wealthy families sending their above average kids there That’s where the annoyance comes in … your on the receiving and of this subtle assertion that their kid goes to NYU because they wanted to be in the Village and that it’s somehow preferable to the Upper West Side or Providence or the crummy part of Philly. We all know what’s really going on, so stop trying so hard. Same for USC tbh, another one time commuter school.

You know little.
There are tons of high stat kids at NYU.

Facetious argument, NYU is gigantic like a public, even if only 25% submitting scores that still a lot of people naturally. Doesn't remove the fact that even more dont submit.

Test optional is temporary. Schools are gradually turning back to test required.
You can compare test sores from pre-pandemic.

Every school was one time commuter school. MIT was one time vocational school. Yawn

Oh that’s right. Thanks.

I’m trying to remember if that one also admits 75% of their kids without test scores … and wants to know whether you are full pay first.

All colleges went Test blind during pandemic, and schools are gradually turning back to test required.
It has vey high stat kids before pandemic and it's a need blind school.
Old timers should be banned from posting.
