I am truly baffled because SJP is not an idiot. This drivel is ruining the original show's legacy. Surely someone must clue her in? She must suspect? How is this travesty allowed to continue?

The entire show is just an homage to SJP. It has been for a long time but it’s gotten worse.

I gagged when the hot, older writer thought she was a writing genius. Please 🙄. He’s supposed to be like a Chernow-like figure.

“The woman” this and “the woman” that. Not exactly groundbreaking but he acted like she was the second coming.

Also, has Kristen Davis always been such an awful actress? I didn’t think so; it’s so jarring.

Also the editing is driving me crazy. Watch the scene with Miranda at the bread restaurant. She picks up the coffee cup and puts it down like 10 times out of order. And it’s clear there’s no coffee in the cup. And, I’m not usually someone who picks apart stuff like this.

PP here. Who brings gifts, besides wine, to a middle-aged lady birthday. And even dumber, absolutely no sits in a circle to open birthday gifts. My kid doesn’t even do that.

Seems is so broke? Wtf she never saved any money from the million dollar sales? She is like the lede version carrie from the original who never saved any dime and spent all her money on shoes. This is so insulting to women.

Carrie is just as pathetic as ever. Did Big and her marriage even exist? They never talked about what a 5 year break would mean? This shit is so high school.

1. She bought it as a home for Aidan too, doesn’t want to decorate it alone. Can’t wait 5 years obviously, so this will be a plot point. She decides to move forward, hopefully by the end of this season.

2. He’s in the season preview. Don’t think in reality friend group would completely drop him, however. Actor busy filming Chicago Fire, too.

3. Seema is hot and glamorous, many would be physically attracted. Not to her personality though, too abrasive. Gardner has strong sense of self, can keep up with her sharp wit. When we finally saw her soften and genuinely smile, was lovely.

4. Yeah, I posted upthread can’t be pulled off in middle age. She needs to tone down.
