Well, for all the pregnancies after Carmen, it happened by him giving a sample 10 years ago that created some frozen embryos.

Then Hilaria calls the surrogacy agency and 9 months later the baby is born in one hospital room and brought over to the next room so Hilaria can sit in bed and pretend like she just delivered it herself. This is actually a thing in the surrogate world. The "intended mother" puts on a gown, gets a blood pressure monitor and looking all glammed up with not a drop of sweat, poses for the newborn photos. Apparently it's to promote bonding, just like wearing a moonbump allows them to relate to the surrogate (who is actually pregnant).

What you are referring to how pregnancy typically occurs, well, from what I've seen, that hasn't been going on for a long time between them. Alec lives in a separate apartment next door down the public hallway. There is no chemistry between them, but I think they both know they are stuck with each other.

It’s hard for me to have much sympathy for Alec. He was awful to Kim Basinger and Ireland. There were always stories about his temper tantrums and enormous ego. He knows how pregnancy occurs so he’s just as responsible as Hilaria. And he participated in the Spanish charade, which was perpetrated on their children, for a long time (we don’t know exactly when he found out, but probably before we did). Imagine your parents make being Spanish really central to your identity and then one day it comes out that it’s all fake. So damaging.

It’s painful to watch him even walk outside in his backyard on the show. He is so stiff and hunched with a pot belly. He physically looks so old and like he has back pain. He can’t even have a piece of pizza that hasn’t been dropped in the ground. It reminded me of the last couple of years of Bruce Willis trying to act for the money even though it was clear he had dementia, but he had a new wife and little kids to raise.

There were photos of him bent over like he was struggling to even function. I don't blame him for mounting a legal fight for acquittal and trying to move forward, but he seems broken. I think Hilaria wants the show to make things better and "normal" for herself and the kids, but he will never be the same.

Agree. It's not his age that is the issue because as noted by PP there are older actors creating great content - which I love to see! Many times he has said he wants to leave public life, even before the shooting. It's probably the best option for him and his kids, but apparently Hilaria refuses.

The tape was cringeworthy—it made me uncomfortable. As for Alec Baldwin, I used to listen to his podcast (before the shooting on the film set) and it was always an interesting listen even with guests that I would have thought I had no interest in.

I think he would file if it were not for the huge amount of child support and alimony he would pay for the next 20 years or the rest of his life. It's sad that he was stupid enough to get into the position of raising so many little kids when he should be retired and enjoying life. He's an idiot.
