Did you child apply for the scholars program and submitted the essay prior to taking the hspt? Trying to figure out if they only sent the invite to those who had high composite scores in the HSPT but did not initially apply for the scholars program.

I have the same question. 97th percentile, good grades, and excellent extracurriculars. DC applied to the Scholars program and wrote the extra essay, but no e-mail.

My DC scored 99?%tile and is a straight A student and we have had nothing, not even in junk mail. Very disappointed.

Did you mark down that you were interested in the scholars program in the application process. There was a check mark box for it. If you didn't then not sure you can jump in at this point. But, maybe you can.

DC did and wrote the extra essay.

What other activities is your DC involved in? Sports? Volunteer work?

Soccer, robotics, tech for school play, some service.

Congratulations! Was this by emaiil today? Pretty sure DC didn’t make the cut, but wanted to confirm.

It arrived Friday but went to my junk email. Another parent alerted me to it and that theirs went to junk e-mail as well.
