My kid plays for Arlington United. It’s not top 5, but I don’t think mvp terps is either. Maybe marucci prospects, canes are always good, stars, Snyder bucks.
Canes has a gazillion teams…it’s a franchise model, so some Canes teams are great (regional national teams) and some are horrible. They try to leverage the name to convince everyone you will get recruited, even though your Canes team may just be a local nobody coach that paid the franchise fee.
Good to know. Won’t be as worried when we have to play them in a tourney. They always seem good.

In our experience no organization in our area comes close to getting high marks across all of these criteria. Some as PP noted are solid at college recruitment, but otherwise communication/organization has been weak across the board and coaches ability to see/connect with kids is highly variable.

This. Seriously. It’s an industry like any other. They are in business to make money.
I think this is what you get when athletes grow up focusing exclusively on sports, verses academics and attaining a decent education that would benefit them in the real-world/ workplace. Then, when their athletic dream is over, they revert to being a part of the pay-to-play athletic training system in order to scratch out a living and survive.
This is not a baseball only problem. But for goodness sakes, make sure your kid's primary focus is on getting a good education and athletics is second.

What are the top 5 travel team organizations in Northern Va. - Would Prime Time be on the list? Looking to see what you have to deal with - when playing for higher level orgs- understand PT is not well regarded at the ownership level- based on this thread.

Skaggs used to work at Marshall High School. He did something in Special Ed.
When he left Yorktown he said it was for a new job... in a sciff.
He worked at Marshall and coached at Yorktown. Left teaching when he had a baby for a job with better pay.
