Not sure where you caught the delusional parent thing (do those teams' parents have their own personal chat sites?), but if you read it again it wasn't whining, was just an assessment of your character. And a pretty easy and obvious one at that. That's all.Anonymous wrote:Stop whining and stay off of message boards if you don’t want honest assessments. And my 29 was not playing at the mid atlantic, but I do get little pleasure in busting the chops of delusional parents. So plenty of joy
Well, that might be how you'd do it, but the PP is a parent of a DD on a top team and gets self worth and lives vicariously through their kid, so they can go out of their way to disparage others without so much as a 2nd thought. Joy!!Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:How did the weekend go for the 29s?
M&D black won the mid atlantic, beating Coppermine black in the final. Coppermine beat Heros green to go to playoffs, meaning it is probably M&D, CM, and Heros in that order for top dog in the area. Integrity played well, but laid an egg against a decent Tradition team from LI and missed the playoffs. MDU finished their winless fall, looks like it will be a rough year for them. M&D DC played in the B bracket but lost a tie breaker to Team 180 from CO, so they missed the playoffs. Stars blue was in same bracket but went 1-3. Pride Red played in the D bracket and went 1-1-2, so it looks like a long year for them too. MC Elite Midnight played in a bad bracket too, but only managed a 1-2-1 record. I hope they are not in the NGLL A league again this spring. 3D VA Metro Orange played in a terrible bracket too, and did well until they made playoffs and had to actually play a team that can catch the ball. Renegades Green did their usual routine of playing in the worst bracket imaginable and then got smoked in playoffs. Overall, same old, same old. The top teams are at the top and it flows down from there.
I thought the same but would be a little more generous to the teams in the lower brackets. I thought there was still some really good lacrosse being played in the lower brackets. The top 3 teams are just in a different echelon than everyone else.
Thought stars and skywalkers looked better than their record reflects. Saw the girls on pride came off the field looking happy and like they enjoy each other so that’s a different kind of success for them. Thought Md dc looked very similar to how pride and next level played last year but can see the potential for growth on that team as they start to gel. And from what I saw the parent sideline was quiet and not crazy. Saw some of the 3D VA metro playoff game and thought they were better than I expected.

Yeah, very pleasant parents and happy girls 🙄

No they won’t. Pride 29 didn’t just lose girls to NL, they lost 12 girls last season almost all of them starters. This won’t be a fair match up unfortunately.
Where did the rest of the Pride girls go?
It seems Pride club program is on a downward spiral.
M&D DC- 7
Stars- 2
3D- 3
The M&D DC team was not very good this weekend. Maybe they’ll do better at the next tourney.
Beat MDU East, tied a legit Aces squad, and lost to a great Eagle Stix team. Maybe they should have been in the C bracket like BLC?
I’m hearing some parents and players have buyers remorse for jumping ship. Some think they were sold a bill of goods. Time will tell.
