Yeah let’s take the word of an article in 360 over a judge who has been hearing cases for over 15 years and went to Harvard. Pretty sure the judge knew what she was doing!

Judges hear cases for a few minutes and half don't even pay attention if you've ever been in a court room.

I was in court yesterday and the video is inconclusive if he landed on the foot. The State attorney said she was not concerned about the hood. The article in moco360 is not accurate and slanted.

Rarely does a judge grant a motion to acquit without the defense presenting a case. It was thrown out because there was no clear evidence.

Judge Burrell was very clear that the burden of proof even if viewed in a favorable light simply did not meet any level to continue the trial or eventually find him guilty.

Can you give some examples of the ‘telling’ he did that was so offensive?

Without outing myself or my kid, a group of kids were alleged to have done something during a field trip. Nothing that could hurt someone, but just something annoying. He didn't know who did it, so he yelled angrily at the whole class. That's just one example. My kid told me he yelled a lot. And I don't mean yell like because kids are loud so he needs to yell, but like angry yelling.

Its ok adults yell at times to get kids attention. There needs to be a balance.

Seen the video and it does not show if Winter made contact with the foot. Article is poorly written. He was not guilty because there was no evidence that he landed on the foot. Plus the kid never even went to the nurse. Judge didn’t see any credible evidence from video and witnesses didn’t present anything to indicate otherwise. They destroyed his career over nothing!

How is a 6 year old testifying about something that happened so long ago?

Not at Barnsley now, but was for the GT program way back when. I found him slimey, like a used car salesman. He would tell you exactly what you wanted to hear, and then then turn around and not do something he said he would, or not have a conversation with the teacher about something he said he was. I caught him in several outright lies during our 2 years at Barnsely

It absolutely is my place! Regardless of criminals offense, purposeful stepping of a child’s foot is sufficient to evidence to call the person garbage.

Good to hear. And glad they put names out there. If you’re going to make accusations and destroy someone’s career, you better be damn sure of your accusations.

So basically they couldn’t prove that the kid was injured by the contact or that it was harmful. Kid was likely in distress already before the contact was made.

I’ll bet the family was hoping for a lawsuit as well after proving a track record of abuse. That may be null now.
