The dead and wounded toll would have risen considerably and a thousand more families would have been traumatized.
Wow, a good guy with a gun would not be spray and pray shooting, and given that some families has multiple people shot, having a thousand more families impacted would not have been a possible outcome.
I suspect that the real issue is that those under arrest most likely previously committed crimes for which they should have been sitting in jail, and thus the shooting would have been avoided.
Ah but having them in prison would not have been equitable.
You have no idea what a "good guy with a gun" would do. It's an absolute fact that the overwhelming majority of gun owners have insufficient training and discipline.

Dude, even police wound bystanders sometimes. Your good guy is 3 beers in at a Super Bowl victory party in a sea of people. He's gonna hurt someone.
+1
These people who conceal carry aren't trained in how to handle public shootings in the midst of a crowd of hundreds of thousands. I don't even understand WHY anyone would assume so. You don't even need a permit let alone training to carry a gun in MO.

Here is what you don't seem to get........
The people who are "good guys with guns" in this type of public setting would know better than to fire off into a crowd. This is why the one juvenile was tackled. You don't give any credit to people who CC. You consider them "idiots with guns" when in fact the vast majority of these people know exactly what they are doing.
If guns were legally allowed at this venue, and I have read nothing to indicate they weren't allowed, I guarantee you there were people in the crowd who were carrying. Did any of them try to shoot at the suspects? Nope.

No they don't know better. And, the people who tackled the shooter were good guys without guns.
