Current US asylum law requires the asylum seeker that they were persecuted and have legitimate fear of future persecution from their OWN government. Ukrainians have not been persecuted by their own government, so they do not qualify for any of the asylum claims. The fact that your country is in the war does not satisfy the requirements for asylum.
