From federally appointed USAO to elected AG to federally appointed judges to putting vicious murderers on the "Sentencing Commission" it really is a criminal's paradise. Racine, Schwab and unchecked truancy have done MUCH to train up the next generation with criminality one of the only professions they pursue. Fed and local agencies that oversee those on probation or pre-trial do not impose consequences for failure to appear or non-compliance with terms of release, in DC alone there are over 1,000 outstanding unserved bench warrants (Fed marshals, where are you?) and more in nearby VA and MD. Names and addresses on the warrants, known criminals, known to be non-compliant with terms or appearing in court, yet, nothing is done, no follow up at all.

When I see kids running from a crime, laughing, I think it's a bit in disbelief that they get away with such things. The ones who mask up must believe, even a tiny bit, that they may not. But, experience is a good teacher. No consequences for behavior, you get more of it. It's basic human knowledge.

^It is beyond offensive to claim that the poor or people of color are criminal and violence prone and that the rest of us must simply be victimized until there is marxism. That is overwhelmingly NOT true. They are more likely to be victims. In a decent society we would remove violent criminals from the community so the rest of us can live in safety.

What has lead to low crime in marxist states is not equity but authoritarian rule.

We don't need a marxist state to reduce crime - problem/reaction/solution much? Reducing poverty is a worthy goal but it has been a constant in human history, unlike unchecked lawlessness. The poor and people of color are overwhelmingly the victims of crime, they deserve to live in safety. My immigrant ancestors were poor and none were criminals or violent, in fact some became law enforcement, fire fighters and served their communities in other ways. They had food scarcity at times but did not use that as a pretext to carjack for joyrides, beat elderly or snatch dogs from owners.

What works is simple and it works quickly. It's even working just up 95 in Baltimore and saving a LOT of LIVES.

Of great importance is the fact that no one but JLG has a credible, electable challenger who is willing to be tougher on crime. Unless more such people come forward, any talk of "voting" is meaningless.

The recall process for those elected in 2022 can begin Jan. 1, and organized campaigns are already making plans (especially WRT Allen and Nadeau).

Unlikely to be successful and then you are STILL left with the issue of credible electable candidates to replace.

Better to focus on such challengers for those up next cycle who are running, like JLG, and those, like Gray, who will not be running. There you have a tremendous chance of success. People don't want to do the hard work of identifying or stepping up as an electable candidate with more reasonable views on crime. Just want to tilt at windmills.
