This was my Laura Ashley homecoming dress. I absolutely loved it! Now it's "vintage" on Etsy, of course! LOL.

Probably something color block from Benneton.

I wanted that Esprit tote bag for Christmas one year and they were so hard to find. My Mom got two but gave my cousin the nice red one and I got the ugly yellow one and i was so mad.

Oh, and velvet knee breeches. Did I forget to mention the velvet knee breechs? Worn with lace up ankle boots.

I had a washed silk shirt from The Limited that had ruffles down the v neck AND full foppish wrist cuff ruffles. Sometimes I would wear it with a brocade waistcoat. Yes, I wanted to be an extra in a Kenneth Branagh movie

I had this same sweater at the time, loved it so much.

Oh my gosh, units were the best. Especially when your mom thought she was buying you the tube top to wear as a skirt over leggings. Bwahahahaha!

I still have the tube top. I wore it as a belt over knit dresses for years. My teen has worn it as a top uhder thjgs like a vest or open knit sweater as well. It’s really comfortable!
I had a striped mini skirt from them that I loved. I think it could also be worn as a strapless top.

Oh my gosh, those are due for a comeback - my 10 year old would LOVE units, she wants all her clothes to be soft and stretchy.

It had ruffle that went across the top, snaked around the bottom of the bodice and formed a peplum. There was a lot going on but it looked good on me. The best part was that I got it for like $45 on sale at Thalheimer’s (now closed) in Raleigh, NC.

My prom dress was Jessica McClintock - cobalt blue satin, tea length.

Mine too. With a huge side[ways bow.

I’d absolutely begged my mom for them, but was only in 5th grade and grew out of them almost immediately. I was so sad.

I wanted these so bad too .i ended up with a no label brand from Mervy's and even though I was poor, I was hot and rocked those with heals.

I also rocked flouncy mini-skirts. My mom wouldn't allow crop tops though. (confused face emoji)

I mentioned my leather bomber upthread. I think I bought mine from Wilson’s - I might be getting the name wrong. It cost $220 and I was proud of myself for buying it with my high school summer job earnings (I made minimum wage - $3.35/hour).

Yes, Wilson’s! Me too. Loved layaway. It was one of my best clothing purchases ever. Got every penny out of it.

My Jessica McClintock prom dress was gold and short - definitely stood out at my high school where most girls wore longer dresses. But I thought it was the prettiest dress ever! Looking back I may have some regrets
