Girls aren’t doing it for the guys they’re doing it for the Insta likes and to compete with the other girls. They just want to prove that they can get the guy and the other one can’t. Once they have the guy he no longer has value, he is just collateral damage and

It benefits their social status among their female friends, frenemies, competition etc.

The guys don’t need to gaze at their classmates. They can gaze at someone who meets their standards or desire whenever they want, and they don’t have to imagine what they would like naked.

Also there is nothing wrong with a guy “checking out” a woman. It is a natural response and first step in mating process. The lack of meaningful relationships for young men is, and is going to continue to be a huge problem.
