OP here—I didn’t do anything wrong except trust this guy and get cheated on my my ex husband. The strain I tested positive for is low risk. Why should the guy leave me and you not blame him for it? I acted responsibly. And he very likely passed it to me!

You mean he knew about it and didn’t tell you?

There is absolutely a treatment for HPV. I received intra urethral medication when I had virus and it cleared in one month. It was in Germany 20 years ago. It was some sort of anti viral and immunomodulator I believe
Really? I’ve never heard of this. Are you male or female PP? What was the medication called?
DP. There are various treatments for the actual warts, including immune modulators. You wouldn’t get this for asymptomatic virus though.

He was probably sleeping with someone else and feels guilty.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Why do people keep suggesting that OP’s guy was sleeping around?
Because she had a clean panel before they started sleeping together, and apparently so did he. So it sounds like he was sleeping around, got it from someone else, and gave to OP.

It is completely relevant. Because if their relationship is sex-based, and he doesn't want to have sex with her because of the HPV, then why would he want to see her?
Aren’t all romantic relationships sex-based?
