These one sided games are not good for the game and the teams involved.
The league has lost its integrity. No C division, let rec players be rec players. At the beginning of the league there actually use to be limited spots based on quality of team. Not every team that could pay got to play to keep the quality of the league, it was selective in the name of development and kept rec programs thriving. Programs and parents have gotten caught up for the wrong reason.

Hero's more so than BLC. Coppermine is undefeated, looks good, but hasn't been tested yet. Hero's had a huge win over MDU week 1. YJMA is leading the mid tier teams even with a rough schedule. Stars, CCLax and Legends all in the mid tier conversation for the final two playoff spots.
Margin of victory seems to be tighter and tighter between the top teams. It will be interesting to see if that was the result of slow starts, spring breaks or more competitive teams.
MS refs r just learning the game so they can advance in their high paying job, give them a break. They r also taught to blow the whistle to correct bad behaviors.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Two game weeks into the NGLL season, some interesting results. M&D and MDU are still on top. Anyone notice the refs were whistle crazy Week 1 but seemed to have gone back to the norm now, or was it our refs we just happened to get Week 1?

YJDMV is good but their next few games will determine if they belong with the elite 2030 squads

YJ DMV will be good enough to hang around the top 25.
Doubtful. Shockingly over-ranked.
Why are they over-ranked? What is the formula for rankings? Isn't it based on competition and performance record? What am I missing here?
Margin of victory or defeat based on the strength of the team. Sample size is too small in Fall, bad teams are overvalued, so beating them up gives you inflated points. That is what YJMA

For years now, Pride is one of the top programs in the area and the country. They are the best at developing players. This is why Capital takes half their team every year. KM has been dealing with haters for a long time and so have a lot of other female lacrosse coaches in the area. Usually, only the good ones get harassed. What is undeniable, is that she has done an amazing job with Pride since she took it over and they are still a top program.
Then why did they 2030 team Pride Red implode?
Impatient parents. It takes atleast two years to develop a team. Good things take time.
Ok Pride coach
3-0
