iPad mini 5— you advised upthread to change zoom setting using hamburger icon. Do you mean the three line drop down? Neither show up. DCUM isn’t in my iPad settings menu. Thought I could tweak there, but no go.

Agree with a poster comment on your web blog to make Go to original more prominent at the top or include in left menu. It’s sandwiched between two ads at bottom. Not a deal breaker since I found it. I want to embrace the new version in solidarity for your hard work here. Thanks, btw.

Wish I could post a sanitized pic of my settings page showing 🔴 with white dash in center AA Text Size. It was in the 🟢 “more settings” section and when I messed with it, it moved itself to “included settings.” Three lines to right arent activated either. Unfortunately, posting pics has been an epic fail despite following instrux.

Have a lovely day!

Click the "hamburger" icon in the upper left corner.

I'm sticking with the OG design. Much easier on the eyes and I'm used to the format.

I finally fixed this. Thanks for pointing it out. I don't think I ever would have noticed.

Is the date of the post there in recent topics in the new format? I’m not seeing it. I miss that

Suggestion might be to keep the subject line font the same but make the font size for the other data considerably smaller (date of last post, etc.). 14 pages of suggestions so don't mean to bury you in complaint if you have already made a final decision on this point.

Also, not sure if this can be supported here without logins but it would be awesome if the posts that you have read could be a lighter blue or something and back to the original color if someone posts something new so you don't need to double check posts for new content.

It does change the color of the title of unread posts if you are logged in. That's already a feature. However, it doesn't work perfect because we have clustered servers and they don't share that information very well.

As for your first suggestion, what page do you mean? Also, what device?

Like if I am in the jobs forum landing page. It sounds like some people want the info about the first and last post but maybe those fonts could be a lot smaller to better use screen real estate.

I am using an android S20FE.

I can make that text a size smaller.

I'm looking at the new layout on a laptop in Firefox for the first time. When looking at the forum list, in a forum at the list of threads, or while replying there is a nice border on the left and right separating the forum from the ads. But when reading a thread, there is no border on the sides. Can we get that back? The open edges make me feel like the content is leaking out sideways.

Yes, I can do that. Probably not today, but soon.

Anonymous wrote:Good morning--There have been many comments about the size of the font for the Subject when using on a laptop (not mobile device). I pointed out yesterday that the forum topic on the left is a very small font size and then the Subject column is huge and then the stats to the right are very small like the forum font. It would be great if there was consistency in the font size across for each thread subject. I posted this comment yesterday, and promise not to mention it again, but it does seem to be a common complaint from those who don't use the site on a mobile device. Thanks for considering, have a good day!

I think this is fixed but let me know if it hasn't been. The thread title should be larger but the rest should all be the same smaller size.

The fonts look better on a desktop browser, in my case, linux/firefox. There's still strange whitespace between Replies/Views and the Last Post columns in the forum view.

I may have fixed that problem.
