I think D.C. keeps owner and address information confidential.
Was that vehicle responsible for the death of three innocent people? If it were, we would expect to see serious consequences for the owner, not just one article about how it has a bunch of unpaid tickets.

"Simply trying to pay the latest ticket displays plate GS5179. A free plate look-up lists VIN JTJDZKCAXJ2013686. And a free VIN look-up reports 2018 Lexus RX350L AWD 6 Cylinders 3.5L FI DOHC 211 CID. From there, you can contact the DMV, perhaps buy a Carfax report, or ask your cop friend."

Right, because those types are likely to run from the police.
The location of the other tickets convinced my I’m wrong on this, but I can easily see that type making a run for it after a few drinks.

Isn't it outrageous if they're not in custody? They killed three people. Or they're off the hook since the police shouldn't have been chasing them in the first place? I don't understand this at all.
Park Police did not chase when the driver fled the stop.
It's outrageous that we don't know whether they are or are not in custody.
It's tough to get data from USAO but Park Police are next level.
Is this usually public information or is this unique because of Park Police's involvement?
