I’m so fascinated when the court of public opinion determines a celebrity to be “crazy” or to have gone “off the rails.” We are merciless and relentless in our judgement. We consider celebrities to be public property undeserving of respect, privacy, or any grace. I find it even more interesting that we take perverse pleasure in seeing celebrities fail, particular those who are women/people of color.
