Hot take from the kind of nightmare relative who would think nothing of using someone’s home without their knowledge or consent.

I have the code and keys to my parents house, the home I grew up in, and I never drop in unannounced. I might legitimately startle them and they might worry if they saw my car in the driveway with no idea I was stopping by.

Since they are the people who raised me to have consideration for others, not just my own “convenience”, I know they would never dream of doing otherwise to me.
