Hmmm … citation for this?

https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/71/wr/mm7117e3.htm
“As of February 2022, approximately 75% of children and adolescents had serologic evidence of previous infection with SARS-CoV-2, with approximately one third becoming newly seropositive since December 2021."

And now they're all getting the new strain. Immunity doesn't last. Vaccines don't seem to a great job in preventing longterm effects. Most sane people would therefore conclude that not getting a highly contagious virus that can have long-term effects is worth wearing a mask to do.

Meh. Just keep getting more shots. Two wasn’t good enough. Three didn’t cut it. Maybe four will do the trick?

You keep getting them. Hard no for us. Two and done.

THIS.

Of course they don’t. Just like they didn’t want to fight the angry lynch mob in order to get kids back in schools. They’ll do what’s most expedient and least risky for them. Always.

Except that: 1) a lot of people that wear masks still end up getting Covid, and 2) a lot of people that don’t even get Covid still end up with those so-called long-term effects.

Your point 2.) Is just more troll nonsense.

1.) Less viral load is still a good thing. Getting covid less often is also good. Not actively infecting others when you have covid? Again, the responsible choice.

Make your choice then. I'm making a different one.

Are you claiming #2 isn’t accurate? That only people with covid end up experiencing the symptoms/effects that are associated with post-covid conditions?

I agree that getting covid less often is a good thing. But presumably you recognize that there are negative effects from masks, mainly discomfort, which is why we don’t always wear masks (with higher quality masks generally being increasingly uncomfortable). Is that discomfort worth getting covid slightly less often? Or having a slightly less chance of developing serious medical complications in your life? I certainly don’t think so. Particularly when it isn’t foreseeable that we’ll ever be living without covid spreading at significant rates.

Downcounty is known for the riffraffs, if you want to know what some W school parents think of that part of town
