I’m the PP. I’m Asian.

Penn has a school-wide blind grading policy to prevent bias in grading. I absolutely believe that policy is widely followed and that she could and would be fired for cause if she didn’t follow it, so honestly I wouldn’t personally be too worried about it if I had been assigned to her class (I wasn’t). I get why some people would be, and the school has addressed it. The first time she made racist comments, years ago, they took away her 1L teaching duties (the only context in which a law student wouldn’t be able to pick their professor) - which I 100% agree with.

Since then she’s been limited to teaching one niche elective on conservative politics. I agree that you’d have to be out of your mind to elect to take that because of the subject matter, and I have heard she’s kind of insufferable, but everyone who does take it actively chooses to. Penn, like all law schools, has a Fed Soc contingent.

But I don’t think they need to do anything else. The statements and internal letters they send out and all that stuff is just evidence of the school being “triggered”, which is clearly her objective. We all know Penn doesn’t condone what she’s saying.

Right? Jews were shut out of ivy leagues for the longest time because there were just "too many of them", but now that Asian Americans are starting to become "too many of them" in elite colleges, the US needs to restrict their presence here.

Jewa are not immune to racism. Anti-miscegenation was a big part of mainstream US Judaism in the 20th Century, coming directly from rabbis and parents.
