Different subject, but in a similar vein, can we also take back any tax revenue spent in Youngkin’s VA by Marylanders? Not only are they endangering all of us with their callous actions, it makes me sick to my stomach to think that the idiots in Virginia may benefit from what is rightfully our money.

Looks like I’m heading to Frederick for shopping and restaurants. What is wrong with our politicians?
Drunk on power
That article is nearly a month old. I highly doubt a vaccine passport will pass.
Was in the news yesterday. Very much still under consideration and very likely to pass, IMO. Though, I am opposed.

Business owners aren't behind the mandate because it isn't regional and patrons won't have to travel far to avoid it. The council also plans to have community input and we all know how that will go. As it is proposed, the mandate will not pass.
You would think! But how did it manage to pass in DC?
There was an info meeting about the DC vaccine passport yesterday. They said it’ll continue even when the weather warms up. And that businesses have to check for the card every time a person enters (versus just allowing some ‘regulars’ to show the card once and move on).
So I can ask my server to show me his vax card every time he comes to our table?
No. You can show yours or leave, as you won’t be getting served any food. Simple.
All businesses - not just restaurants - are covered in the Montgomery County proposal.
They plan to check your Passport at the door (you and your children).
No passport? NO ENTRY.
Grocery stores?
That is not accurate this mandate only really applies specifically to bars, restaurants, movie theatres, and gyms mostly. They do leave it kind of open ended in terms of the councils ability to extend the mandate to facilities they deem necessary. Exempted are "essential" businesses (that would include grocery stores). Laughably, they do not extend the mandate to "big box stores" - just another indication of how much of a farce this authoritarian overreach is. Coronavirus is allergic to Home Depot apparently.

Does that mean you’ll move to MD if so?
It would be an argument in favor. Maryland seems much better run than Virginia is likely to be over the next four years.
Yeah, thanks to our Republican governor, right? You want to come from Virginia (run by a Democrat the past few years) to a state that has been run by a Republican governor.![]()
Hogan is not Youngkin there is zero comparison
Youngkin will destroy Virginia he will never leave office he told you that
He’s a criminal ready to pad his pockets your taxes in Virginia woo hoo either his pocket and or going up up up
Privatizing schools hey lots of monies there on your way VA
Amazon already in talks to leave VA behind
That’s right people all that infrastructure going to be a repeat of Pentagon city bye bye

I’m happy to send an email. Any suggestions as who would be the most effective to email?
If anyone knows of someone who might be more receptive to opposing the vaccine mandate, I would love to hear it.
Send separate emails to your district councilmember and all four at large members. And when you send the email to Albornoz, keep in mind that he’s council president so he has a lot of power.
Would someone be willing to post a list or a link to the at-large members with their email addresses?
I think this is up for a vote soon?
Do it ASAP. Hearing is tomorrow but vote might be dealyed by a week
