These schools can’t compete with Yorktown or Langley that’s I’ll id say. Yorktown on the rise and miaa iac and wcac on the downfall. Can’t wait until one of these schools slips up and schedules a game with Yorktown.

A lot can change in 2 seasons.

I wouldn’t write them off just yet.

Miaa is not what they used to be and the dynamics of the league are changing.

Gilman, St Paul’s and Loyola Blakefield have fallen off. (Ty Xanders might still try snd hype up these programs)

It’s now BL, Calvert Hall, Saint Mary’s and McDonogh. (Spalding was the new kids on the block this spring)

Tom Ripley. CEO of the Hat company, Lids. Also coach of the 2022 Annapolis Hawks with a son on that team. His son goes to Spalding and people think he is the dad is driving force behind all the Hawks 2022 kids going to Spalding. He’s a much talked about and divisive figure. Think George Soros or the Koch Brothers but for 2022 lacrosse. SJC has several 2022 Hawks so there’s always been speculation Ripley would coax them from SJC to Spaulding to help his son’s team.

Thought Kelly was the driving force behind kids going Spalding. BTW after the 22’s at Spalding are gone it’s back to the cellar in the miaa. Not many solid recruits from 23 and under classes going there.

Fyock and Phipps are business partners and Fyock has always been a Ripley disciple.

only people who are spreading rumors about SJC are the Gonzaga folks. Gonzaga's future does not look that bright right now with SJC emerging and now DeMatha making headwinds in PG county.

Prep's main focus has always been the IAC, beating rival Landon and re-establishing IAC dominance under the Giblin years. I can assure you, not many GP applicants are considering SJC.. (no matter how hard their loser assistant coach tries to push)

From a lacrosse standpoint Prep and SJC are pretty close as the recent games prove.

But for the rest of it —- academically, socially and financially —- the two schools are vastly different. It’s hard to believe that lacrosse would be the deciding factor for anyone given the small difference between the two programs.

Loser assistant coach? Kicked your ass 3 times in a row now. Go ahead and count 4 loser.

Loser? Has pretty good lax pedigree. He won Natty in 2011 and did a great job with MadLax 2019.
