Actually, Israel has accomplished quite a lot since they were attacked. Hamas is more or less gone. All of their leadership has been killed. Same with Hezbollah in Lebanon. The Assad regime in Syria was toppled, ensuring that Iran can no longer supply its proxy armies in the region. Iran itself has been seriously weakened by recent strikes. Their air defense is gone. Most of the rocket launchers have been destroyed. Many Iranian generals and nuclear scientists have been eliminated. Their nuclear weapons program has been at minimum seriously degraded. Iran is not much of a regional threat anymore. And both Lebanon and Syria have signaled they will be signing the Abraham Accords together with Saudi Arabia. It's been a very good 18 months for Israel and the Sunni Middle East.
