Clyde is a pathological liar. Please don't compare. L is a great coach and person.
You have no idea what you're talking about. Clyde is one of the most honest, humble and professional coaches in all of youth soccer. He's respected and trusted by top college coaches throughout the country and one of the main reasons why McLean continues to have the successful college placement that it does.
CW is awesome but please stop talking about college placement. College placement, college placement, college placement, we get it. But when are we going to talk about the ugly side of that placement?
Not knocking kids here but How many times have we seen McLean place D2 level kids into Major D1 colleges? And then 1 year later those kids are either in the portal or thinking about quitting because they are the 27th player on their roster? But thats not important.
Eat those orange slices, Suzie…it’s halftime.
How is that the club's fault what the hell? Pretty sure any kid would take a D1 offer over a D2 regardless of where they think they are at

Did he email BRYC and VYS families too?
Why is the Technical Director at GFR sending out emails like that to Mclean ECNL families...that seems wierd..I guess GFR does care about girls youth soccer just not at their own club![]()
Getting real desperate. Parents seeing through the BS that is NM. How is he not in violation of conflict of interest. No other club would allow you to be TD of another club and coach in another. McLean is a joke. LW and CW gettting paid by NM to allow him to do whatever he wants. Someone nont should look into this.
This is soccer not government contracts. There is no such thing conflict of interest.
Soccer is one big community where coaches can coach multiple team in different club

And scheduled the same night and time as all the boys FVU ID sessions which had already been announced last week, and which are 30+ minutes away from said townhall…
Perhaps a coincidence but it’s not a good look…
MYS just changed the date of the town hall.

When my kids were younger, there was an Arlington coach that did this. Ratted kids out and a few got blackballed.
It was sick. Parents are paying $3-5k—they should routinely check for fit and see what’s out there.
If you are doing your job, you’d welcome competition and be confident your players will stay.
This is not unique to Arlington. All the coaches rat out any players to their current coaches.
It's usually other parents on your team that tell the coach if your kid is trying out or guesting at other clubs.
Of course, rats. They even lie about it. All to position their kid in a better place.
As a coach, if a parent were coming up to me to rat out other players---they'd be on 'my list'. Not in a good way.
The true irony is the rat parent think this helps them---but they are just as susceptible to being knifed in the back by the same Coach/Club.
There is zero loyalty in youth soccer. None. Don't for a second trust anyone. Play your cards close to your chest and always have back-up option.
You have been warned
