I’ll be on the AT in Georgia next week. Solo hike. I really hope they find him before then. I have never felt unsafe on the AT. If he is an experienced hiker, that would be the perfect pace to hide. Especially if he has outside help.

Yup.

I am seriously worried about hikers on the trail, especially the women hiking solo. This man is a menace. I hope the authorities deploy people onto the trail, perhaps on mule back/ATVs/on foot, as the terrain warrants.

The FBI doesn’t seem to think that he is outside of Florida at this point.

IDK. If he were going to do this, why not just do it in WY? He’s gone to a lot of trouble to survive and remain free.

This. His parents bought him a 2 week+ head start. They wouldn't have waited 3 days to declare him missing if they were actually worried about him.
