The kids leaving are still paid up and officially a part of the club until after Nationals. Just ask the kids who were invited to go to Nationals as part of their new team but NVA didn’t turn over their player cards….Why, because they are still part of NVA. The club decided to cancel all remaining practices for the kids leaving, pretend like they didn’t exist, and only practice with the kids staying, even though the kids leaving paid dues through Nationals. The club was petty for doing that, and in violation of their contract, and you are petty for trying to deny this kid a chance to go to a Showcase even though she is still officially on the team. On the team just like the rest of the kids that were abruptly canceled by the club and coach. How can NVA not let kids leaving go to Nationals with their new club because they are still a part of NVA (even though all activities were cancelled for them), but then you complain they are still being invited to Showcases. It is all petty petty petty. But the kids cut out of practices didn’t complain because they are good kids who like their teammates and wish them the best. Same with the parents leaving. If only you could uphold that standard too. Don’t like the fall coach, complain to the league, don’t like the new coach, complain to this forum, don’t think it is fair kids on the team still get opportunities, complain. Did you ever think that your comments on this kid’s parents are rich given your helicopter parent actions. I do.
unfortunately this is not true. ECNL had locked down college pathway. However within 2-3 years its going to be MSLN and GA. Boys side is what drives it all, and ECNL has been decimated.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:When our fav TD and Coach invites their fav departing NVA 2011 to an NVA 09 showcase instead of 2011 that are staying….. it doesn’t make parents or DDs happy. Don’t be mad because your DD isn’t good enough to play ECNL. Have fun in GA! LOL
lol. These parents. College coaches don’t look at the league name or badge. Keep chasing the badge, it does not mean a thing in recruitment. You have better chances of getting recruited as an impact player than a bench warmer. Be it ECNL or GA. Look for a team with a good coach and an environment where your kid gets challenged constantly and get opportunities to develop. The badge does not matter.

so much great talent that Arl wanted her right? from what we understand under coach N that player wasn’t a blip in the radar. Was only after RP stepped in that there was some attention given. And from what we personally saw last season that player didnt even carry the team. Kinda weird until u understand how much Mom was and apparently still is engaged with the TD.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:lol with that attitude what/why are they still glazing your soon to be departed kid. Not propped up talent because parents that cry to coaches for every little thing that makes her DD feel less of a soccer player. And yes the word is out about that. Cant artificially create confidence.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:When our fav TD and Coach invites their fav departing NVA 2011 to an NVA 09 showcase instead of 2011 that are staying….. it doesn’t make parents or DDs happy. Lady get over it her DD must be a great talent. Clearly your DD wasn’t being looked at. Some of your parents need to get a grip and stop acting like your entitled. Agreed most of the players over there are propped up but stop trying to tear down others when your DD didn’t have the talent.

oooo that rock hit someone. If your DD was that good they would have made the ecnl club. Unless they were on the ecnl club.. which if thats the case your full of shyt. Lol never seen anyone playing up since 8 or consistently w the boys. Coach N at times and RP would do that with some of the age groups but not consistently. Dont remember if RA did that when she was there.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:their parents cry the loudest or have the TDs ear. Either way ask em. What criteria do they get based on?
It also placates parents who are indicating they will leave. Its like a participation trophy w that club
Spoken like a true hater. Players don't play up past u12 unless they are beyond talented. It pisses off parents like you because it showcases your special little player isn't actually a top of the top talent. We know girls playing up since they were 8 and with boys because they are just that good. Sorry that's not the case for your child but I'm sure they are still good too!
Anonymous wrote:Sorry, I didn’t read the entire thread but just had a question about NVA. What league did NVA play in? Are those the teams that will become their MLSNext teams and does anyone know if they got an entirely new team through ID sessions and recruitment or is most of the previous team intact?
DS is on a Maryland MLSNext team and just gauging what to expect of this new addition to the division.
