So if they’re meeting every week, how can the ticket plausibly distance itself from project 2025?

You know what? I think Trump is lying about not having anything to do with project 2025.

The most chilling part of that is when he acknowledges that conservatives have "lost" every societal institution except churches, which are now weaker than ever, and there's literally no discussion or reflection of why that is. They simply believe they should be able to force their beliefs onto everyone else despite their beliefs being wholly rejected throughout society.

Wow. He actually may be worse than Trump. He’s sitting there casually talking about overthrowing the government.

Of course he endorses it! The GOP is giddy that they might get to destroy America!!

(And that guy really does look like he’s wearing eyeliner; it’s most apparent in motion. I’ve really only seen still shots of him.)

Yep! Department of Education would be abolished - all the better to raise a ton more uneducated homeschooled and religiously indoctrinated kids. A critically thoughtful populace is far too scary for Republicans.

And all the other fun stuff the GOP wants to do to the country. Once they fully demonize trans people and fully restrict women’s bodily autonomy, they’ll move on to harassing gay people and then Black people won’t be safe. Project 2025 promises a complete reordering of American rights and it’s incredibly unpopular whenever people look it up because Republicans are weird MFs who just can’t be normal for ten minutes.

Such evil MFers.

I think you’re right, but that we should help them by mentioning it freely.
